JOB BRIEF
Our client, a leading company in the Renewable Energy & Energy Storage Solutions sector, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide both pre-sales and after-sales technical services. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the installation, commissioning, training, and maintenance of the company’s energy storage system (ESS) products, particularly in small commercial and residential applications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for pre-sales, after-sales technical services, and product maintenance services for the company& products in Accra, Ghana, and surrounding cities;
- Responsible for providing product technical training (including product knowledge explanation, product installation, and after-sales maintenance services) and technical guidance to distributors, agents, and their technical personnel
- Responsible for the installation, commissioning, and demonstration of the company’s & energy storage system products (including small commercial energy storage systems, etc.) in Accra and surrounding cities, as well as pre-sales technical support
- Accompany the customer manager to visit customers, assist the Customer Manager in expanding business, responsible for pre-sales and after-sales technical support of the company& products in Accra and surrounding cities, as well as product performance specifications and customer technical communication work
- Participate in the marketing activities of the company's products in Accra and surrounding cities;
- Provide product technical performance specifications and technical support for the company& overseas market activities.
- Participate in the bidding process for the company& overseas energy storage projects and customer maintenance work.
- Other temporary tasks of the company
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, mechanical and electrical engineering major is preferred; At least 5 years of work experience.
- At least 3 years of pre-sales technical support or after-sales service experience in lithium battery energy storage products (or lithium battery energy storage systems); Rich experience in using and installing residential lithium battery packs, as well as after-sales service; Familiar with lithium battery energy storage systems, knowledgeable about the use and installation of energy storage systems and inverters, and able to handle installation and maintenance issues related to energy storage systems;
- Have a good understanding of residential power transmission and distribution networks, as well as residential electricity distribution, and be familiar with diesel generator distribution.
- Honesty, down-to-earth work, strong hands-on ability, and good communication, interpretation, and expression skills.
- Proficient in using various after-sales service tools, familiar with the use of upper computer, proficient in office software, and instant messaging applications such as WhatsApp.
- Having a good spirit of specialization and strong learning ability, as well as a good team cooperation spirit.
- Adhere to company management rules and regulations, be dedicated, and have a team spirit of cooperation.
