Job Purpose

Responsible for setting patron tables and buffet areas for service. Accommodates all guests and responsible for replenishing buffet food, refilling beverages, removing dirty dishes from tables and assist in additional tasks to help facilitate a smooth and efficient service.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up for events by putting out tablecloths and place settings, arranging table placement and setting up a buffet
  • Set up buffets with food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performance
  • Keep glasses filled, remove each round of plates and replenish utensils
  • Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service
  • Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards


Qualification & Requirements

  • Diploma from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • A minimum of 2 years previous waitstaff or banquet server experience required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of English language
  • Excellent customer service skills
