JOB BRIEF
Our client in the Construction of Commercial and Residential Properties is seeking to recruit an Site Supervisor with over 5+ years’ Leadership experience in Construction Project who will be responsible Ordering building supplies, Scheduling equipment maintenance as needed, and training new construction employees, Leadership and Team building.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, planning, and directing work assignments.
- Ensure that all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
- Monitor progress on-site and provide regular updates to the Project Manager
- Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and tradespeople.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all site activities, including daily progress reports, site inspections, and incident reports.
- Ensure that all construction work is completed to the required quality standards.
- Participate in project planning meetings and provide input on site-related issues.
- Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks to ensure that all workers are aware of their responsibilities and the requirements of the project.
- Liaise with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure that project timelines and budgets are met.
- Ensure that all site resources are used efficiently and effectively to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
- Must maintain the highest level of integrity and company policy adherence. Leadership by example.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction site supervision or management
- Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards
- OSHA certification is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
