Job Brief

Our client in the Manufacturing sector located in Akosombo is seeking to recruit a Plant Manager with over 10+ years’ Leadership experience in a Manufacturing Environment with proven track record of progressive growth in leadership responsibilities. Responsible for all aspects of Safety, Manufacturing, Quality, Customer Satisfaction and P & L. Leadership and Team building skills with the ability to work with cross functional teams to insure company goals and objectives are met.

Specific Responsibilities

1. Continuous improvement activities to improve “KPI” (Key Performance Indicators).
2. Ability to establish and maintain effective inventory systems to enhance manufacturing uptime and maximize inventory turns. Purchasing & Production planning.
3. Must be able to function and thrive in a team environment with focus on Safety, Quality, Customer expectations and profitability.
4. Must maintain highest level of integrity and company policy adherence. Lead by example
5. Must be hands on, able to work overtime with little/ no notice extended shift and/or weekends as needed.
6. Other duties as assigned

Job Requirement

1. Must possess a degree, most preferably in Business/Engineering
2. Injection Molding experience is a plus, New Plant start-up experience is a plus.
3. Must have thorough knowledge of Local & National labor laws, safety requirements, inspections and audits.
4. Must possess leadership skills with ability to train, evaluate, develop and mentor employees.
5. Must be self-motivated and goal orientated, Team builder.
6. Good communication skills.
7. Must have thorough understanding of accountability
