SALES LEAD
Our client is a reputable well-established organization in the production, wholesale and retail of fresh produce industry incorporated under the Laws of Ghana. The client is seeking a Sales Lead to assist in building up the business.
Job Purpose:
The responsibilities will include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals, and meeting customer satisfaction. Below are key responsibilities and expectations of your role:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Work closely with business owners
- Produce accurate reports and forecasts each month
- Utilize multiple prospecting strategies to identify prospects and consistently set appointments with qualified potential clients
- Identify and develop relationships directly with key decision-makers
- Leverage existing relationships via referrals to generate new prospect opportunities
- Deliver consistent new meeting activities that meet and exceed quarterly targets
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through on-the-ground prospecting, cold calling, networking, and social media
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their needs and how we can meet those needs
- Create weekly reviews and reports on leads, prospects, and customers to enable informed decisions
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales
- Participate on behalf of the company at exhibitions and other trade events to market our produce
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints and objections
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Gather feedback from customers and prospects to share with internal team members
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or any Business related field preferred
- Experience as a Sales Lead in a similar industry
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, etc., preferred
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Fast learner and passion for sales
- Great command of both Twi and the English language
- Ability to identify the highest-potential target markets
- Superior time management and organizational skills
- Hungry with a strong self-drive.
