Our Client is a reputable well-established company in the Engineering industry incorporated under the Laws of Ghana. Our client is seeking a Sales & Support Engineers to search for new clients who could benefit from the products in a designated region.

Job Purpose:

To secure new business within the company’s existing portfolio of clients as well as seeking out new clients – focus on hunting new businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Searching for new clients who could benefit from your products in a designated region
• Travelling to visit potential clients
• Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
• Managing and interpreting customer requirements
• Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
• Calculating client quotations
• Negotiating tender and contract terms
• Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions
• Offering after-sales support services
• Administering client accounts
• Analysing costs and sales
• Preparing reports for head office
• Meeting regular sales targets
• Recording and maintaining client contact data
• coordinating sales projects
• Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
• Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
• Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
• Solving client problems
• Helping in the design of custom-made products
• Providing training and producing support material for the sales team

Qualification & Regquirement

• HND/BSc Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification from any recognized Tertiary Institution
• 5+ years’ experience in the engineering, customer engineering, sales or related experience and knowledge of the Engineering and Oil & gas- upstream/downstream
• Excellent knowledge basic engineering and electricity – medium and high voltage
• High degree of self-motivation/ task oriented
• Adaptable and flexible- open to change (positive or negative) and to considerable variety in the workplace as well as traveling.
• Strong working knowledge of Engineering Software- Autocard
• Strong communication skills, bilingual is an advantage
