JOB BRIEF

Our client in the Construction of Commercial and Residential Properties is seeking to recruit an Site Supervisor with over 5+ years’ Leadership experience in Construction Project who will be responsible Ordering building supplies, Scheduling equipment maintenance as needed, and training new construction employees, Leadership and Team building.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, planning, and directing work assignments.
  2. Ensure that all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
  3. Monitor progress on-site and provide regular updates to the Project Manager
  4. Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and tradespeople.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all site activities, including daily progress reports, site inspections, and incident reports.
  6. Ensure that all construction work is completed to the required quality standards.
  7. Participate in project planning meetings and provide input on site-related issues.
  8. Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks to ensure that all workers are aware of their responsibilities and the requirements of the project.
  9. Liaise with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure that project timelines and budgets are met.
  10. Ensure that all site resources are used efficiently and effectively to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
  11. Must maintain the highest level of integrity and company policy adherence. Leadership by example.
  12. Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in construction site supervision or management
  3. Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  4. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and practices
  5. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  6. Excellent communication and leadership skills
  7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  8. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards
  9. OSHA certification is a plus.
  10. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
