2 | Provide recommendations on matters including the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, equipment, materials and products used in deep water drilling operations, including completion and workover;Perform technical analysis of all drilling programs, work plans, reports on the results of operations and final well reports.Monitor the daily drilling operations and update the appropriate charts and files;Participates in technical seminars and sessions on well construction activities, including seminars on value creation, technical evaluation of solutions, seminars on drilling and completion “on paper”, performance reviews;Review and analyzes deep water drilling operations risk register.Liaise with contractors and services to enable efficient execution of the well operations. |
3 | Perform analysis of the well cost and budget, identifies and recommends cost improvement initiatives to senior management.Develop materials, technology and services cost database for the region. |
4 | Participate in technical meetings with Lukoil IOCC Wells Department as required;Participate in technical meetings drilling service providers and partners as required. |
5 | Review and analyzes available offset well data to determine the most technically and environmentally sound operating practices and areas where innovative drilling ideas can be implemented.Develop offset wells database. |
6 | Participate in developing training programs;Active involvement in the process of D&W design and analysis, cost estimates, tendering documentation review, tendering process supervising, and others;Improving professional skills and abilities through constant interaction;Joint participation in meetings related to projects activities;Control interface with other engineers to ensure work coordination and the project schedule and the budget are on track. |

Relevant professional experience | At least 10 years of relevant experience in the drilling engineering. At least 5 years of experience as a drilling specialist on offshore projects, most of which is associated with Deepwater / West Africa; Experience in the full range of deepwater drilling engineering techniques and methodologies.Experience in planning and executing offshore projects utilizing floating drilling platforms (semi-submersible rigs, drill ships).Field experience on floating drilling platforms (semi-submersible rigs, drill ships) is preferred. | |
Professional knowledge, skills and capabilities | Knowledge of the casing string design principles and maximum load design cases for deep water wells. Knowledge of specific operations related to deep water drilling. Knowledge of required logistics operations to support deep water drilling.
