JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client in the Oil and Gas sector located in Accra is looking to recruit an HR & Administration Manager who is competent in forward looking HR, who is passionate about people and highly discreet in carrying out his/her operational duties. This role seeks to double as a Finance role with expertise in the finance field whiles managing the HR processes and maintaining consistency in approach across the broader HR team.
Responsibilities/Key Objectives:
- Conducting the recruitment process by overseeing job postings, candidates screening, interview scheduling, and reference checks. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and developing effective recruitment strategies.
- Processing of payroll for all staff members whiles ensuring compensations and benefits are rewarded in a timely fashion.
- Development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices. Keep abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and recommend updates to policies as needed.
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs to enhance skills and capabilities. Partner with department leaders to develop training plans and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Provide front line coaching and support to all staff and management on all HR related matters including, reward, talent management, employee relations.
- Develop Performance management tools, team and individual development etc while working closely with managers to deliver and improve individual performance
- Support Organisational Development initiatives as needed.
- Development and implementation of comprehensive safety policies and procedures which involves identification of potential risk hazards, risk assessment and establishing protocols to mitigate them.
QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource with a Finance background or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in an Oil and Gas setting
- Experience in working in an ISO management system and HR management software system is a plus
- Experience as a finance expert in an HR field will be considered too
