JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client in the Manufacturing Industry is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for planning the production orders according to the decisions made within the S&OP and the plant demand plan: monthly/weekly planning and follow-up, to follow progress and managing the Finished Goods Store. This role manages the Master Production Scheduling (MPS), provides “Available To Promise” and delivers lead time to the sales department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consolidates plant demand plan: backlog + late orders + forecast.
- Takes charge of the S&OP process at the plant level: prepares load/capacity plan for the next months, and animates the S&OP meeting.
- Plans weekly production orders in coordination with production teams according to plant demand plan; make the follow-up (Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
- Manages plant Bottlenecks: appropriate loading & feeding.
- Plan procurement orders according to the production plan (Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
- Is responsible for the Master Data accuracy (Item, Routine, BOM).
- Is accountable for inventory coverage (Raw material, WIP & Finished Goods) and for cost optimization within the plant.
- Leadership ability to explain the vision, values, and standards of the company and set the appropriate examples.
- Assign duties to and monitor activities of immediate team members to ensure achievement of performance targets.
- Respects and enforces the quality, safety, health, and environment rules in the performance of his or her day-to-day activities
QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
Job Requirements
- Graduate in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
- MBA in Supply Chain Material Management
- ERP skill assets in the Material Management module.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in supply chain or related project management from an Industrial background.
- Analytical capabilities, including business planning and reporting experience with proven capability to formalize clear and compelling reports, and identify and formulate scenarios.
- Expertise in key customer service, supply chain, and inventory management processes.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to lead the change.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, production, and finance counterparts.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task/prioritize workload.
- Well organized, having a structured and analytical approach.
- Ability to articulate views and decisions and stick to them where necessary.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, high level of networking skills, and ability to excel in transversal roles.
